What Causes A Raised Tendon In The Armpit And Tingling Sensation In The Hand?

Question: hi, I have what looks like a raised tendon in my right armpit which has been like this for a few weeks, it's a little tender but not too painful. I have also had a strange numbness/tingling in my right hand, this has been happening for the past few months. Also recently occasional pain on the outer edge of my right hand.
I visited my GP a couple of weeks ago but as I hadn't connected these things I only asked her about the thing in my armpit. She carried out a blood test to rule out lymph nodes etc as she thought it looked like a tendon, they were clear. I wonder if the raised thing and symptoms in my hand could be connected ?
