What Causes A Red Circular Spot On The Shaft Of The Penis?

I had a red circular flat spot occur on the top right side on the shaft of my penis 3 days ago. No signs or symptoms of anything hurting, tingling, burning, etc. I am also very anxious about STD's quite a bit so I am usually making sure that I am not noticing anything out of the ordinary on my penis. I would have noticed things like tiny bumps or blisters. The next day I noticed a scab beginning to form over the red spot. Last night I masturbated and noticed the scab was gone, but in the morning the scab began to form again, and now is a bit tender. Should I be worried about a herpes or any other STD's?

HI and thanks so much for this query.
To be of most help, I will need to review an image of this spot. Also, are you sexually active? If yes, any recent episodes of unprotected sexual intercourse?
Unlikely to be herpes as herpes presents with many vesicles and not a flat spot. However, your masturbation might have caused irritation and scabbing.

Did you say woman or women?
Detailed Answer:
HI,
I have reviewed this attached image. It looks more like a possible local reaction to an aggression. Am highly suspicious that this might be from masturbation. I recommend you put masturbation on hold for now and allow for full recovery. Cleansing daily with clean water is all that is required. No antibiotics and avoid picking on this too often.
Just for precision purposes, did you mean the same women pr same woman?
Best regards!

Do you think it could be STD related? Also a day before this lesion occurred I did masturbate more than usual. What was worrying me was the circular appearance, it seems to be a decently symmetrical.
Unlikely to be an STD at this time!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It’s unlikely to be an STD. For now, monitor only and report progress to me. I will appreciate a follow up image in 72-96hours. Always consider protection during intercourse as this reduces chances of STDs and unwanted pregnancy.
I wish you well.

Would be expecting!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I will be expecting further updates from you.
Until then, I wish you well.

This point to the fact that the masturbation was too aggressive!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
This means you were somewhat too aggressive with the masturbation. Try to be gentle next time. This is not suggestive of an STD.
I wish you well
