What Causes A Red Rash Appearing On Genital Region?

Question: Hello, from 3 days ago there are red rash appearing on my genital, so I waited couple days to see if the rash would get better, but when I checked this morning I find out he rash hasn't got any better, it got little bit more. I am wondering if this is some kind of STD, like herpes or sythilis.

It appears to be due to irritation or friction or allergy .Please send following details:
-intercourse history ,
-partner history,
-any symptoms,
- investigations

It does not appear like syphilis.With given morphology herpes also appears unlikely.

Avoid friction , irritation ,intercourse.
Just clean area with warm water twice daily.
Do not use any irritants.
Wear loose cotton inner wears.

I had unprotected sex with my gf, like a week ago, so I don't know if thats the reason. For my rashes, it's painless and no itching at all. Therefore, I thought it was herpes.

So this is not std related rash?

Check for any history of STDs in the partner.

Get tested for STDs , If partner has history of STDs or if you develop any symptoms or either of you have multiple partners.
Otherwise go for routine STDs tests including for HSV(herpes) antibodies after 3 months.

It does not appear like STDs rash or herpes.
