I am not really sure since how long. I have noticed it today.
Are there any associated symptoms line burning or itching sensation?
NO burning or itching sensation over it. Even when i touch that part of skin it seems normal, no pain or anything at all. The surface is smooth. Just that a ring like blackish brown pattern is there

Brief Answer:
Probably hormonal pigmentation.
Detailed Answer:
Helo, Sir.
I apologize for the delayed response owing to my work schedule.
In the absence of any symptoms, this can be localized hyperpigmentation secondary to hormonal effect.
You need not worry about it, as this will subside with time.
No specific treatment required as of now.
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you

Is it contagious or harmful in any way? Does it keep increasing?
Also I would like to monitor it for a week and see if it changes.
If that is good with with you doc.
