What Causes A Small Lump On Upper Jaw?

Question: I have a small lump on my upper jaw. It is not visual but I can feel it. It is about the size of a small marble.
Brief Answer:
Please consult laryngologist.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
This lump is most likely a lymph node. If it should be rounded, hard and movable. Lack of pain is also characteristic for a lymph node.
Now, it is important to determine if this lymph node is a regular one or enlarged due to inflammation or even a cancer.
If you have teeth issues or throat inflammation, this can be the case.
If you do smoke, cancer probability is higher than regular. In such case I suggest you to consult laryngologist.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
