Question: My husband has COPD and he has trouble with his eyes draining a thick yellow muscular in the corner of each eye. Does this go along with the COPD.

No, COPD is not usually associated with symptoms in the eyes. The symptoms of COPD are respiratory eg coughing, shortness of breath, wheezing.
There is no link to the eyes.

Yellow discharge in the eyes usually implies an infection is present. Infections of the eyes can be viral or bacterial but with thick yellow discharge, bacterial infection is more likely.

Bacterial infections would require topical/eye antibiotics.

Eye hygiene- repeatedly clearing the discharge with clean material, would also be helpful
