Brief Answer:
Your symptoms are not cardiac related.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome back on HCM!

I understand your concern and would reassure you that your symptoms are not related to any cardiac disorder. Your performed cardiac tests can confirm this.

So relax! It doesn't seem to be something serious.

Coming to this point there are two main causes of this symptomatology that should be considered:

1- A thyroid dysfunction. I would recommend performing thyroid hormone levels and a thyroid gland ultrasound to exclude possible thyroid nodes that may lead to this clinical scenario.

2- Anxiety. Anxiety can cause this symptomatology. If thyroid hormones and ultrasound result normal, I would recommend consulting with a psychiatrist, which to help you in the more professional way. An antidepressant used for some months coupled with benzodiazepines for a short period may be needed.

Psychotherapy, recreational sports, Yoga and meditations are also recommendable.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Feel free to ask any other questions whenever you need!

Best wishes,

Dr. Iliri
