What Causes A Visible Clot On The Neck?

Question: After coming from morning jog, I have found that there is visible clot (gaath) on my neck, below ear. It is large, viaible and on pressed, pains (little) too. It wasnt there earlier. What is it and do i have to worry here?_

Hi,

Thanks for posting a picture here. The picture reveals a small, broad and ill-defined lump which could be a lymph node or a cyst. Without a physical examination it is difficult to differentiate cyst, lymph node swelling or any other mass. I hope you did not have any injury.

In this circumstance, this lump seems like a benign lesion. You need not be overly worried. If you are unable to see a doctor for examination, I will suggest you to watch and monitor the lump. Most likely it should disappear in a week or two.
