What Causes A White Patch Of Rash On The Forehead?
Question: Hi
I have noticed a white round patch on my forehead. Seems like it's getting bigger. The skin scales when I scratch it. Makes me freak out if it's going to leave a scar on my face. Please help.

Brief Answer:
Seems to be due to a fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone through your query. It seems that you have a fungal infection of the skin on your forehead. If that is the case, application of candid (clotrimazole) lotion topically should help in its resolution. However, I would need you to upload an image of the affected area so that I could confirm.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Seborrhoeic dermatitis.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I have checked the attached image. It seems to be due to seborrhoeic dermatitis which occurs due to a fungal infection. You need to apply clotirimazole lotion topically over the affected areas. You also need to apply ketoconazole shampoo (available in brands like Nizoral) twice or thrice a week. Hoping that to provide relief.
