You have to avoid certain set of fruits and vegetables.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
Certain vegetables and fruits are known to cause gastritis and bloating. You have to avoid these fruits/vegetables to avoid symptoms.
Cruciferous vegetables like XXXXXXX cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower are great sources of vitamin C and satiating fiber, but they can also make you bloated and gassy. Citrus fruits like orange are also rich in vitamin C. So avoid these especially during bed time.
Raw spinach, onions, corn can also provoke bloating.
The other possibility is certain rare disease like gluten sensitivity and fructose intolerance.
You can also usebover the counter antacids like pantoprazole before taking fruits.
If symptoms aggregates despite all these, consult a medical gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
Wishing you good health.
Regards
Dr Shinas Hussain

I think that the problem is deeper than sensitivity or allergy. It started about two years ago as sensitivity to tomatoes. This is a known phenomenon. But such a reaction to ingesting every vegetable and every fruit? Maybe there is an involvement of pancreas?
Which specialty physician should I see?
Thanks, XXXXXXX Pollin
A medical gastroenterologist can help you.

Thanks for the follow up.
Consult a medical gastroenterologist and get evaluated. You might require complex investigations to rule out conditions like fructose intolerance.
Thanks
