What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Frequent Urination After Taking Misoprostol?
Question: Taken second dose of sublingual misoprostol (400 mg). Pain has diminished in 7 hours. No heavy bleeding. The problem is bloating is there accompanied by feeling of urination, wherefrom none occurs.
Have taken Ibrufen, Tramadol and Acetaminophen tablets... This is day 5. Since day 2 on Augmentin Duo 625 mg and Ceftum 500 OD, daily. Had Mifepristone on Day 1, 200 mg, after being adviced at doctors clinic, and Misoprostol 500 mg Sublingually 2 days ago.
What could it be? When should I contact the ED? 6 hrs, no visible urination and bleeding, no pain either. bLOATING SENSATION.
Forgot to metion Gestation. Was 5 week's pregnant while starting on therapy (Since my last menses). Dont have a Gyne in our town. So please help.
What plans should we be following?
Had one Delivery via Vaginal Delivery 6 years ago. No bad smell from last discharges.

To terminate the pregnancy you have to take tablets after undergoing ultrasound to estimate the gestational age, after confirming the intrauterine pregnancy and excluding ectopic pregnancy.
Usually after taking the first dose of misoprostol, the process of abortion should start in 6 to 12 hours and the process usually completes in 48 to 72 hours.
Antibiotics and analgesics can lead to side effects like bloating sensation.
As you didn't get expected amount of bleeding and having decreased urination, please go to ER as early as possible.
Get examined, go for ultrasound and if your doctor advice go for estimation of renal parameters. With this workup possible cause of delay in the process of abortion and other problems can be identified and treatment can be planned accordingly.
