Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Based on your description it can be associated with sebaceous cyst, papilloma or neurofibroma. They are benign lesions.
The area should be examined for the presence of hernia or lymph node or other abnormal swelling in which case reduction or biopsy of the swelling/node would be required.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks

I don't have insurance right now. If I let this go for a while, will it get worse? It looks like it's changed over the last year. The top of the belly button looks distorted or puffy. Feels weird if I push on it, but doesn't hurt. I thought it was a hernia.
