Question: Hi sir,
I had an IUI on July 19th. 21 days after, my hcg is 8430, is it normal for 4 weeks 6 days, or anything to worry about? I do not have any nausea, vomiting. I just have abdominal fullness, stretching feeling, sudden sharp twinges. I am 35 years old.

One time reading of hcg has no meaning because it is double in every 24 hrs.in initial pregnancy.
Usually hcg level in 4 weeks 6 days is in between 18-7340mIU/ml.
Have you done your ultrasound scan?
I think you were on fertility treatment also?
Your hcg level is fine but ultrasound scan is important.

Yes, I was on fertility medications, no scan done yet, I am scheduled for second blood test on 12th, the wednesday.
