Question: I did an endoscopy two days ago. Is it normal to feel acute consistent pain in my stomach? Nothing I felt before. It is very mild but noticeable

Brief Answer:
no, see doctor that did endoscopy

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
This is not normal. Occasionally there is some damage done during an endoscopy that causes pain or bleeding. You need to report this immediately to your doctor to make sure there are no complications due to the procedure. Take a medication like omprazole to decrease stomach acid, this may give you some relief. It is possible that it is just some discomfort due to the stretching but you need to get it checked out immediately

Thank you so much. It is more of a discomfort than pain. I do have Omprvazole 40mg and will start taking it. thank you.

Brief Answer:
great

Detailed Answer:
If the omeprazole eases it off then you may not need to see the doctor again but if it is persistent then don't delay in being seen again.
I hope you are feeling better soon,
