What Causes Abdominal Pain And Nausea In Child?
Question: Dear Doctor,
My 5.2 years old son has abdominal pain & vomitting sensation from last 20 days. As per Doctor advised we had given him J. LANZOL 30, ZENTAL 18 days back and SYRUP DIGIPLEX.
We did his USG Abd + Pelvis and urine test. In this test multiple round worms are seen in the small bowel. So Doctor suggested SYRUP MEBEX for 3 days so worms can flush out. But we have not find any worms paases from his stool. Now Dr suggeested to hospitalized him for worm treatment.
Now before hospitalized him on Tuesday we take advised from another doctor. He suggest us to give him SYP NIZONIDE O 7.5 ml × 2 times × 4 days, SYP ANAFORTAN 5 ml × 2 times × 2 days and continue with SYP DIGEPLEX for 1 mth. Since he has started taking them from yesterday.
But today he having temperature 99.8, so can i give him SYP MEFTAL with above medicine.
And plase advise us what to do, shall we hospitalized him or continuing with above medicine.

2. All fruits are safe if cleaned well.
3. No relation to current medicines
4. Fever could be due to throat infection.
5. Ensure he drinks plenty of liquids. If fever doesn't settle down consult your doctor.
