What Causes Abdominal Pain, Bloating, Nausea, Muscle Aches And Headache?
can try other meds as well
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Based on the symptoms mentioned, bloating, nausea, muscle aches, headaches, it is possible that you may have either a viral illness causing all of these symptoms or a viral illness responsible for the muscle pain and headaches with the abdominal symptoms due to another cause (reflux, food intolerance etc)
Many viral illnesses can last 7 to 10 days.
Treatment would include: (1) continue the tylenol
(2) pepcid or zantac or tums for the bloating
(3)peptobismol or dramamine (may make you sleepy ) to help the nausea. Pepto would also help the bloating as well.
(4) fluids and rest are also important
(5)use dry foods for now, avoid any greasy foods for now being because this would aggravate the symptoms
I hope this helps ,feel free to ask any other questions
Toast, biscuits, plain rice

hi
sorry for the delayed reply
dry foods include biscuits, bread, plain rice.
Consider a sports drink such as gatrade which would give you electrolytes and fluids. This would improve the weakness.
If you can make the shakes with no or little milk base , this would be okay
In some persons milk can aggravate bloating.
Please feel free to ask anything else

one other question. last night i went outside did a couple of things and had to get to the bathroom really quick. i started vomiting but nothing came out for the first 4-5 times. then about 16-24 ounce of liquid came up. I'm a terrible vomiter but it did not smell and there was no bile. this the first time i think I've had this happen. my stomach muscles are really sore from how long i did this. is this normal? my wife now has some symptoms.
thanks .. XXXXXXX
In keeping with viral illness
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Unfortunately this is in keeping with a viral illness. The vomiting that you are now experiencing and the symptoms that your wife is now having.
These types of Gastrointestinal infections are spread hand to mouth. This means that the virus is transmitted by contact with infected surfaces. When this contact is then followed at some point with ingestion of food/drink, this leads to symptoms in someone else.
This is the reason copious handwashing is advised
with vomiting, you should use small amounts of liquid regularly
If you use large amounts at a time, it may provoke vomiting
in addition hold off solids till there is a 4 hour window with no vomiting.
hope you guys improve soon

It hopeful will be laproscopic. They said his gall bladder was full of stones and the walls were thickened? Anyway just thought I would let you know. He had no fever but has an infection so that surprised us.
Thanks for you help XXXXXXX XXXX
most are laproscopic
Detailed Answer:
HI
Sorry to hear that.
Most ops for gall bladder are laproscopic and very successful, so he should be ok
The walls usually become thickened as part of the inflammatory response
Wishing him the best
