Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate: Female/36 - lot of pain lower abdomen - started yesterday - occasionally near buttock - more like pressure - occasional in upper abdomen - mild tenderness - varied pain but not severe enough - fever with chills yesterday - once - constipation and bloating - diarrhea once only - weird taste in mouth -
Read and understood the concerns which are:
What can it be?
As per the history your have provided this looks to enteritis, inflammation/infection of the small intestines.
Is it possible peritonitis?
No this may not be peritonitis as the pain would have been severe enough not allowing you to move even a bit without severe excruciating pain....
something else?
Fever with chills can indicate an infection somewhere. And goes in favor of enteritis that is infection of the intestines.
I would advise you the following:
Consult your Doctor and send the sample of stool, urine and blood for routine tests and get started with proper medicines.
If no relief within a few days, then go for further investigations and management.
My fever was only once and since then has not repeated it self but I do feel weak and little more sweaty - no major nausea or vomiting.
I understand that you don't think it can be peritonitis? Can it hide itself for awhile?
Weird is that after sitting down it is little painful in very low abdomen when I get up. Also it is slightly painful in lower abdomen when trying to pass gas. I do have some belching.. is there a reason for these symptoms? Also I have had hard time today to go and pass stool.. it feels like constipation.
What about aortic aneurysm in stomach? Is it possible ?
Get the tests done, get the proper diagnosis

As advised above- clinical evaluation, investigations and proper diagnosis and treatment.
