A change in the shape of the cervix is more likely to be congenital. Cervical scarring causing a change in shape of the cervix is rare. Another cause of change of shape is an abnormal growth in the area. This will be ruled out after we get PAP smear report. The misshaped cervix can be a normal variation also. Do wait for the report to confirm.

Of course I am obviously worried about cancer but I do not have any symptoms and the doctor just seemed to be talking about the shape and location but said color and texture was fine so I am kind of confused at the statement, I have never seen a cervix like that. I work out daily, no bleeding, no spotting, no pain, just going for a routine pap. A doctor a month ago had a good look there because I went to him about perimenopause symptoms and he never said anything about this.
