Brief Answer:
try multivitamin supplements

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
For good hair growth essential elements include protein and trace elements.
Ensure you provide her with adequate protein intake.
Multivitamin supplements would help in ensuring good supply of trace elements like zinc magnesium copper etc which are important in hair growth.
At 18 months it is too early to get proper uniform hair formation.
As she grows it will definitely improve on its own.
Any intrauterine infection during pregnancy could also cause irregular hair growth but this will improve by 2 to 3 years of age.
No reason to worry.
Wishing your granddaughter good health
Regards
Dr Arun
