What Causes Absence Of Bleeding After Taking Meprate?

other conditions should be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Usually one gets withdrawal bleeding within7-10 days of stopping the meprate. However, sometimes it gets delayed upto 14 days.
I would like to know whether you are sexually active or not, as pregnancy needs to be ruled out.
If there is no chance of pregnancy, then other hormonal disturbances like hypothyroidism and hyperprolactemia should be tested for, as they also cause delayed response to meprate.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back to me with the information, if feasible.
Wishing you good health.

No I am not sexually active.
I got myself scanned. Found there are immature follicles confirming pcod. Further tests are awaited after periods.
Other hormonal causes should be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, thanks for responding. Thanks for providing the information. I would suggest you to get all the hormonal profile done including thyroid hormone levels, prolactin levels, and cortisol levels to rule out other hormonal causes of delayed periods.
Rest you can repeat the course of meprate after waiting for4 days to induce withdrawal bleeding.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Please do get back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
