What Causes Absence Of Periods And Weight Gain?
Question: Hi. I was wondering , i want to say around august of last year my period mysteriously went away, with no explanation. I'm only 39, then i put on began putting on wacker andeight/. none of my habbits changed at all as far as what i was eating or how much , then i went ththrou gh a severe vommiting cycle for a couple of weeks, till i coldnt take it anymore and went to the e.r.. they gave me fluids till i was able to hold down a XXXXXXX with a cracker and sip of soda. then sent me home with a antinatual script .eight i continued packing on weight to the point of completely uncomfortable in my own skin. then a month later this whole thing cycle around again with the vomiting profusely for two weeks till i asked to go to my dr who sent me over to the e.r. They followed same course of treatment as the time before. right before all of this began i was soo tired all the time. it seemed like thats all i did was sleep, my period just returned yesterday,as i was soo completely shocked shocked, because i thought maybe it went away forever for some odd reason. throughout the last 7 months I never stopped gaining weight , quite the opposite just seem to keep getting fatter and fatter no matter what ido !!!!!! This being Obese thing has never in my life ever happened to me before. I've packed on around 80 pounds and going. i don't understand , because I've ne er been overweight before . oh and also when this all started my legs began swelling from hip to toes. Help i feel like a blimp and it feels miserable and no matter what i do i continue to gain ....no mtter hat i try to do lose weight, the fatter i get.its miserably uncomfortable, aand it sure isn't helping my self esteem... i just want to cry.....

No , none of my habits have changed as far as eating, cal. intake, or exercise. nor has my stress ,nor have we moved. just the swelling inflammation in both legs down to the toes if I'm on my feet for 1- 2 hrs, then the blow up. becoming lethargic, and sleeping a lot also happened around the same time last year as well as the weight gain. thew only thing that happened prior to all this last dec. my period went away completely inaug, last year. is all this normal? Ive never fat in my life
