Brief Answer:
Doxycycline is preferred

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
The procedure of HSG can cause slight infection in the genital tract.
For it, Doxycycline is the ideal drug and should always be given for 5 days after the procedure.
The dose should be 100 mg twice a day.
In my opinion, you should take doxycycline for this symptom.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
