What Causes Acute Stomach Ache And Abdominal Pain?
Question: My wife is 50 years old. She is mildly diabetic. She is having periods and along with it, is having acute stomach ache - lower abdomen - and is also mildly sweating. What could be the reason and what should be done.

1.Lower abdominal pain is common during periods. I recommend that you give her Tab Dicycloverine to releive her of the pain.
2.The sweating can be either due to low sugars or due to the pain itself. I advise you to give her something to eat right away.
3. If the pain is extreme and if she is not able to tolerate or if there is vomiting then I recommend you to take her to a hospital immediately.
4. Tab Panadol is not a good drug for abdominal pain.
