Brief Answer:
bowels stuck together, enlargement of part of the kidney

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

(1)Left ovary is not visualized- unable to see the left ovary

(2)Multiple bowel loops coupled together in the left adnexa- the left ovary is not seen because it is blocked by the bowel

Loops of the bowel are stuck together in the left adnexa

The adnexa essentially refers to the area close to the uterus , this includes the ovaries and tubes.

(3)intestinal adhesion- the bowels are stuck together

this is most common if there is a previous history of surgery

(4)moderate hydronephrosis- this is enlargement of the part of the kidneys due to a blockage further down.
A blockage causes enlargement because of back up of urine and increased pressure in the areas before the block

A stone for example can cause a block or if there is history of recurrent infections then scar tissue can form causing a block.

A mass may also be present causing the obstruction.

(5) IVP stands for intravenous pyelogram. This is a special test that is used to visualize the urinary system (kidneys, ureter and bladder)
It would be able to determine if there is a block present

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions

Not sure if this is a part of the answer, but could you tell me what would cause this to happen and if medication can help or surgery has to be done to correct?

Brief Answer:
surgery may be needed

Detailed Answer:
HI

Sorry about the late reply

(1)Adhesions of the bowel (stuck together) are most common if there is a history of previous surgery or trauma to the bowel.

Adhesions can sometimes causes bowel obstruction or blockage. If this occurs then surgery is done to release the adhesions.

If there are no symptoms then there is no treatment.

Treatment is based on the presence of obstruction symptoms.

(2)Enlargement of the kidney areas causing hydronephrosis occurs if there is or was a block in some aspect of the kidney or ureter. This causes the parts before the block to become dilated/enlarged.

Could be from a stone, mass, scar tissue etc

Treatment would be pain medication, surgery may also be needed as well

Please feel free to ask any other questions

Could you tell me what are parasites in the body? What cause them to enter and what damage they can cause in the body?

Brief Answer:
intestinal parasites more common

Detailed Answer:
HI

There are different types of parasites.

The most common are those that affect the gastrointestinal tract- intestinal parasites. Eg giardia lamblia, enteroblus vermicularis, entamoeba histolytica, ancylostoma duodenale, necator americanus.

These parasites may cause some or all of the following: nausea, vomiting, malabsorption (food not absorbed), diarrhea , weight loss, blood loss in stool, anemia, pica , ulcers in the intestines, , bloody diarrhea, one type (ameba) may cause pus collection in the liver.

Would be detected in an analysis of the stool, in some cases additional tests may also be needed.

Parasites can also affect other areas such as the skin, liver, lungs, eyes, brain. Chagas parasite can affect the heart and muscle as well.
Damage can occur to any of these areas as a result- abscess (pus collections), scar formation (eg in the skin), blindness
