Hi doctor,
Thank you for your valuable answer..
Is 2.6 mg/dl bilirubin count that I mentioned in my previous question ,something to be worried of,as it's a range, I feel, something above the normal range.
Also how long after jaundice should one has to put restriction on food and beer?
Waiting for your valuable advice.

Brief Answer:
Need to know your Liver function Profile test report.
Detailed Answer:
HI
2.6 is high and the reason has to be found out . If it is only due to Alcohol intake then the liver enzymes ( SGPT, SGOT ) will also be elevated . But if they are not elevated and only Bilirubin is elevated then there is a possibility of other causes of Jaundice.
Food and drink restriction has to be put till your bilirubin becomes normal.
Kindly let me know your Liver function test report.
Regards.
