Brief Answer:
This could be sinus infections.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.
This could be sinus infection.
Although amoxicillin is an acceptable first antibiotic for an uncomplicated acute sinus infection, I prefer amoxicillin-clavulanate as the first-line drug for treatment of a suspected bacterial sinus infection because it is usually effective against most of the species and strains of bacteria that cause the sinus infection.
If the symptoms does not improve you may need another antibiotic.
The flonase nasal spray is steroid and I usually use this spray for allergic rhinitis and not for infections.
I also recommend steam inhalation. This improves sinus drainage and promote sinus ventilation.
Analgesic like tablet paracetamol for pain relief.
Oral decongestant like tablet levocetrizine with phenylephrine.
Avoid smoking

You will be fine.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.

Wish you a speedy recovery.

Ok so is that smell associated with sinus infection? Also I had a septoplasty done about 2 years ago with turbines reduction. I ever since notice my makeup and eyeliner comes out when I blow my nose. Do you think this can cause the bacteria in the sinus? How long should I let the amoxicillin work for before requesting a new medicine? Can you take the decongestant with breastfeeding?

Brief Answer:
Yes, this could be due to sinus infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the follow up.
Yes, the smell could be due to sinus infection.
This may not be related to your post septoplasty issues.
You need to take at least 3 days. If you don't find any improvement, then go for review of medication.
In case of breast feeding nasal decongestant like oxymetazoline is preferred.

Wish you a speedy recovery.

Truly,
