Brief Answer:
Can be due to nerve root irritation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The feeling of electricity through the legs is likely to be due to mild nerve root compression related to a mild disc prolapse or a wrong posture causing a muscle spasm. It can happen due to methylcobalamin deficiency also. You need to start with back strengthening exercises to build up a more flexible spine and start with methylcobalamin supplements after getting your levels evaluated. Increasing your fluid intake will also help.
I hope this answers your query.
