Brief Answer:
Nothing to be worried about

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have undergone surgery of Endoscopic Endopyelotomy for PUJ obstruction 10 days back and has rash over loin and pain near the ribs .

The rash that you have is usually due to allergic reaction to the antiseptic solution or spirit that is being used before surgery to clean the operating site.It gets resolved over a period of time and not to be worried about it

As regards mild pain it is bound to be there for afew more days and is the result of surgical trauma to the internal structures which gets setteled withn two to three weeks .

You can use topical steroid cream to be applied over affected area on the loin .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

dear doctor XXXXXXX
feeling of pain is related to posture.
i dont feel pain while lying straight on bed.
pain starts while walking or sitting without any support behind the back.
is it related to stent positioning or internal trauma.

Brief Answer:
Pain could be due to forein body reaction to stent .

Hello
Thanks for follow up .
The pain that you have may be due to foreign body reaction to stent which usually gets settled and may get resolved after removal of stent .Till then take pain killers like Diclofenac or Brufen twice daily .
