Question: I cannot sleep, I feel anxious and at times depressed and nervous. My tongue feels strange, like it is prickly. My joints ache, especially my fingers. I feel like my blood is rushing. I have lost 40 pounds in the last year without really trying. I take 23 mg of thyroid medicine.

Thyroid hormone imbalance

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Your symptoms are very typical to that of seen in thyroid hormone imbalance.

Do get the test done at the earliest. Please do share the report with me. I shall advice based on the thyroid hormone levels.

There seems significant distortion in the hormone levels and 25micrograms is not a suitable dose and needs to be readjusted based on the report.
