Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic. I, Dr Abhishek Kapoor, would help you in this query.
Atrial fibrillation (AF or A-fib) is the most common
cardiac arrhythmia (
heart rhythm disorder). It may cause no symptoms, but it is often associated with palpitations, fainting, chest pain etc.
In your case, causes of atrial fibrillation may be due to adderall (amphetamine) or alcohol. Amphetamine or other amphetamine like drugs share similar adverse effects on the cardiovascular system, related predominantly to
sympathetic nervous system activation. Amphetamine and its derivative ecstasy produce indirect sympathetic activation by releasing
norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin from central and autonomic nervous system terminals and increase heart rate. This could lead to atrial fibrillation.
Excessive alcohol consumption more than 2 drinks daily or
binge drinking in women could lead to atrial fibrillation in 60% of cases. Other reason, may be positive family history of heart disease.
Better to avoid alcohol and adderall, this ECG changes would improve on its own.
In case, you need further help, you can ask.
