Question: My husband is very sick with back pain, slurred speech, shaking hands, very dull in head, and very bloated stomach. What could this be?

He has hunched over spence his lower center of his back started hurting about 3weeks ago, his whole demeanor is different, his voice is lower doesn't speak very well has a bit of a slur, this has all happened gradually over the last three weeks since his back started hurting, I have watched things go downhill from there. It seems that his stomach is very bloated and he's not very hungry. He has gone to the chiropractor about seven times to get adjusted and it doesn't seem to help at all, the medications that he is on is lithium carbonate, cholesterol medicine and just regular Vitimans. We are weaning him off of the lithium carbonate because his levels were way too high, his doctor has put him on thyroid medication and cortisol because those were both very low. He has no pre-existing illness. I am very worried about him or he has no appetite and is very very tired. His hands are shaky Way more than normal from the side effect of taking lithium which has been going on now for the past three weeks since his back was sore and still is very sore.
