What Causes Back Spasms And Pain In The Shoulder Blade?
Question: I have had back spasms in mid upper area of my back and also feel discomfort along my shoulder blade and neck for a few weeks. I notice when I have carried heavy backages the pain starts. Also, I use an iPad frequently and bond my neck down the my lap for long periods. I also have had, in the front area of my neck ,near thyroid discomfort. No swelling. I have gone to a chiropractor whoch seems to help. I can feel okay for days and then have a recurrence!

Are yoga exercises helpful for my back? Also, I have had osteopenia for years and have not had a bone density test for quite a long time. Wcould I have bone deterioration at my age and should I get a bone density test?
Brief Answer:
Yoga is good
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
yoga is good for you. Just do not bend your back too much. Bone density decreases over the period of time. So I have suggested you to take calcium regularly. You can get a fresh BMD test and share reports with me.
thanks
