What Causes Bad Cough, Flu Symptoms And Nausea?
I have seen several doctors who have no idea what it is. I have had CT scans that show my cervical nodes were about 8 times the size they should be. I had them biopsied which proved there was no lymphoma or TB.
I am at my absolute wits end and this general disgusting shattered feeling I get every day is too much. Do you have any idea what this may be?
Your advice would be much appreciated. It's now nearly 5 months and it's deabilitating!
I also sometimes feel a numbness or tingling sensation across the cheeks/jaw of my face, and my lymphs are swollen.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. It seems that we are dealing with either an infective, reactive and sometimes a=n autoimmune problem here. It is good to hear that malignancy and tuberculosis have been ruled out by a biopsy.
2. I will need access to all your previous reports, CT images, detailed clinical notes of all the doctors you have visited as well as the answers to a few questions.
3. The exact location of these cervical lymph nodes will help track down the drainage area which may be the site of origin. There are about 300 lymph nodes in the head and neck region alone.
4. There is an endless list of causes, mostly benign, We can narrow this down. I need to know more about your history of travel, occupation, exposure to animals, recent medication or surgery, blood transfusions and food habits. The tingling numbness on the face, it is on one side or both?
5. In the meanwhile, supportive medication for your nausea, headaches is advised.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
