What Causes Big Bruise On Right Knee?

Question: Mt 5 year old daughter was getting dressed the other day and she noticed that she had a big bruise but she didn't know how she got it. I just shrugged it off because it was right under her knee I just assumes she fell but today when I was giving her a bath I noticed that it started to pop out like a soft goose egg. Should I be worried. She is a healthy 5 year old no medical issues.

I notice it before she got in the bath right after she took her paints off she said it was sore to the touch

The swelling must be due to collection of blood under skin. Don't worry, it will resolve on its own. You can apply heparin gel for faster relief. Let me know if you have any other doubts. Thank you
