What Causes Black Colored Discharge From The Nipples?
Question: My girlfriend is experiencing gray/black discharge from her nipples. Is this a serious concern. She is 51.

Pain: No pain in her breast but does experience pain under her ribs just below her right breast.
No change in color.
Some increase in size but more in firmness.
Noticed change and discharge about 1 month ago
Only grey discharge from right breast when squeezed. Has clear discharge occasionally from left breast.
Also, in addition to the pain under her ribcage she has gained 30 lbs over the last 4 months, from 110 lbs to 140lbs mostly in her stomach area.
Last month she noticed ridges in her fingernails. Is this a concern?
