What Causes Black Coloured Vomiting?
Question: Hi I am vomiting black, with blots of black in it. I am also passing black stool/water. However after a tough 24 hrs I am feeling better. Not vomiting, however still passing black stool/water

Black colour vomiting suggests bleeding from the upper gastrointestinal tract.
Black stools could indicate bleeding from the stomach or the small intestine.
I would suggest that you visit your doctor and get a physical examination.You would also need a complete hemogram test and stool microscopy test.
If there is evidence of bleed on stool exam or if hemoglobin is low then an upper GI endoscopy is indicated.
