Thank you
It might be threatened abortion
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion the noticing of slight spotting for once or twice episodes is called threatened abortion in which spotting is seen as warning signal but pregnancy might continue normally if causative factor is removed. It usually occurs in case of physical strain or hormonal imbalances like thyroid abnormalities or progesterone insufficiency(PI).
So I suggest you to rule out the thyroid abnormalities by doing thyroid profile.
Progesterone is essential hormone for maintenance of pregnancy.Sometimes PI occurs causing uterus irritable and spotting might be seen.So progesterone is prescribed.Susten is nothing but progesterone hormone.
Ecospirin is prescribed to avoid microclots in placenta which might hamper the blood supply to fetus resulting in abortion or poor growth of fetus. So it is prescribed in those with recurrent abortions and intra uterine growth retardation(IUGR).
Both ecospirin and susten might not have sideeffects on fetus and they can be taken if
situation demands even through out the pregnancy. But ecospirin might cause gastritis to mother.
Take good rest.Avoid physical strain and intercourse.Thyroid profile might be done.As you have spotting only once ecospirin might be curtailed and susten can be continued. So discuss regarding ecospirin for what other reason it was prescribed.
Nothing to worry.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.
