Brief Answer:
Please dont use q tip

Detailed Answer:
Hello

The bleeding is most likely to be due to the use of the q tip , which is slowly damaging the skin of the auditory canal , leading to bleeding.

The best way to prevent this is to stop using the q tip all together. Please dont worry as this wound will gradually heal by itself and the bleeding will stop.

The body has a natural mechanism by which the wax produced in the ears is slowly expelled out and you dont have to use a q tip to clean the ear.

Repeated bleeding can lead to an infection and lots of pain so i would advice her to stop using it.

She does not need any drops or medications at present , but if she develops pain , fever , ear discharge or decreased hearing , she should meet her ent doctor for examination and advice.

Take care!
