Brief Answer:
Consult your doctor...

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for posting the query

Nasal bleed could be due to various reasons. As you have not provided a complete history, age, sex, medical history and occupation it is difficult to narrow down on the diagnosis.

Nasal bleed of profuse in intensity happens due to sudden increase in the blood pressure causing rupture of the tiny aneurysms present in the arteries. Due to increase in the pressure there will nasal congestion causing swelling around the opening of the Eustachian tube and the sinuses.

Mild nasal bleed could be due to dry and crusting in the nose. Other causes include trauma, septal deviation, sinusitis, etc.

My suggestions to you are:
1. Use saline nasal spray and saline nasal ointment to keep the nose moist and reduce the bleeding.
2. Drink plenty of warm water. This helps in reducing the congestion around the Eustachian tube and the paranasal sinuses.
3. Do steam inhalation. Warm air reduces the congestion around the sinuses.
4. Avoid forceful sneezing or blowing of the nose.

Consult you doctor for a diagnostic nasal endoscopy, blood examination, x-ray of the paranasal sinuses and cauterization if required.

Hope I have answered your query; I will be available for the follow-up queries.
