What Causes Bloating, Discomfort Stomach And Nausea Inspite Of Being On Mirena?

Modifications, IUD removal and stopping paroxeteine will help
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
Mirena is an IUD and its use was necessary that time to prevent menorrhagia, now that you are in perimenopause i believe i is not needed any more and can be taken out as itself can cause all these symptoms you mentioned .
Recent exacerbations in a week time frame may need a little work up as i am suspecting some functional bowel too like IBS , you should focus on diet and add plenty of fluids and fiber intake to it.
Eat small frequent meals, reduce fats and fatty foods, Try the lactose intolerant and gluten free diet , it will help too.
Wait for the symptoms to resolve by doing conservative and diet lifestyle modifications, meanwhile if menorrhagia is not a bothersome issue any more, time to get this mirena out as this IUD itself is the reason for many possibilities.
The drug you are taking is paroxetine and it can also cause bowel and gut issues you mentioned.
I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
May the odds be ever in your favour.

Khan

You are welcome
As i mentioned earlier all three of them could be possibilities. Aporax and Mirena are likely culprits and after all you are already out of bleeding phase. I think you should Consider getting it out. Take symptomatic management with anti emetics and phloroglucinol for the relief. Diet will help for sure.
