Why did my gyn say to wait two months before trying to conceive after IUD removal?
Brief Answer:
Due to anovulatory periods.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
After IUD removal you may have one or two anovulatory periods. It can cause a blighted ovum or a missed abortion instead of a proper pregnancy. It is best to wait for 2 months before trying to conceive.
