How Long After IUD Removal Can Pregnancy Be Expected?

Question: I had my IUD taken out XXXXXXX 9, then had light brown discharge on the 14 . Now July 9 having light discharge could I be pregnant? How long after IUD removal can I get pregnant and or have a normal period?

Due to anovulatory periods.

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
After IUD removal you may have one or two anovulatory periods. It can cause a blighted ovum or a missed abortion instead of a proper pregnancy. It is best to wait for 2 months before trying to conceive.
