What Causes Blocked Ears Along With Crackling And Popping Sounds?

Question: I have mucous thickening at the lower region of each maxilliary antrum. Symptoms are fully blocked ears, with constant crackling and popping for seven months now. Can you please advise if I can use Metronidazole to clear this? Have tried many treatments and several antibiotics. Is there anything else you can please recommend? Is this Sinusitis?
Brief Answer:
No need to metronidazole to clear this
Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,
I have gone through your query and medication tried; and suggests you that there is no need to take the metronidazole to clear this.
For proper treatment first you go for
1. Pure tone audiometry test to assess the hearing of the both ear.
2. Impedance audiometry test to rule out any middle ear disease such as secretory otitis media.
After this either you send the all reports to me or consult with your ENT specialist for better management.
Thanks
