Brief Answer:
Recurrent Viral infection.

Detailed Answer:
As you told you had Rhinoviruses
which causes upper respiratory tract infections infect the lower respiratory tract occurs rouns the year and you recovered. This current infection could be again due to rhinovirus, parainfluenza virus, respiratory syncytial virus, metapneumovirus or group A streptococcus. It could be possible that your previous infection was superimposed by secondary infected. You must visit a physician for physical examination. Usually complications are rare. You need to get few laboratory tests WBC, CBC, ESR done. You must get your throat swab examination done for aerobic and anaerobic bacteria. At present no other investigation is needed but if symptoms worse you can get a PCR testing of respiratory sample. I advise you to take rest, drink plenty of fluids, NSAID antihistamines like cetrizine or loratadine it will relieve obstruction, nasal decongestants like oxymetazoline or phenylephrine or oral decongestant like pseudoephedrine which will provide you relief. Keep your surroundings clean using phenol or alcohol containing compounds like chlorhexidine, wash hands frequently. Keep yourself warm and wear adequate clothing. Do not smoke or consume alcohol. Take a note if nasal discharge comes thick then it indicates bacterial infection and you might require antibiotics as well.
Visit a ENT SPECIALIST OR PHYSICIAN for examination. As you are getting recurrence of cold I suggest avoid exposure to too cold climatic conditions as well. Eat healthy and protein rich balanced diet.

Best of health.
