What Causes Blood And Pus Discharge From A Boil On Testicles?
Question: HI I have a question my fiance has a boil on his private part, which is on his balls. I'm sorry I don't know if I spell that correct and he had it Sunday . And so yesterday I told him to keep putting warm compression. On it so he did that, but it was bleeding and puss still coming out. Today the puss is still and it looks red around that area. Do you think it's affected?

I have read your query and understand your concern.
Your fiancé has developed bacterial infection with pus and blood oozing out and considerable red area around it ( cellulitis )
Treatment involves...
Cleaning it with SAVLON
Dressing with sterile gauze after applying a triple antibiotic ointment or plain antibiotic oint like NEOSPORIN.
A course of broad spectrum antibiotic like AUGMENTIN 625 mg thrice a day.( this is what I use in my practice for such cases.),for 5-7 days.Since it is a prescription antibiotic,you have to consult your doctor for prescription.
Anti inflammatory analgesic like ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day for 3-4 days.
There is nothing to worry as it would be totally all right in next 5-7 days.
It would be better to get his blood sugar levels also checked up.
Consult your doctor for examination and confirmation of what I suggested.
