What Causes Blood Blisters In The Oral Cavity?
I have gotten 3 tiny blood blisters in mouth in last 2 months
any ideas what can be causing this?
Most possible canker sores, but also anemia, biting tongue and also cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
In general the blisters are canker sores which are cause of viruses. If the sores are multiple in one place the virus may be herpes.
Other causes may be biting the tongue, if it is accompanied with chapped lips in the borders you need to rule out anemia and if the sores are there for 2 months and are only growing you need to rule out a cancer.
If worse or not better, I would recommend seeing a local doctor.
Hope this is helpful.
