What Causes Blood Clots In Lungs And Seizures After Taking Pain Injections?

Question: A few years ago my husband had some back issues. He went to the doctor and got 15 shots in his back from the pain clinic. A couple months later he ended up with blood clots in his lung. A week later he developed "seizures"/ He went to the University of Minnesota hospital and had the electrodes attached to his head for a few days. He had had up to 30 of these seizures a day. They said that he was having pseudo seizures. They took him off the medicines he had been given in Duluth and the seizures went away. Now they are back with a vengeance and his back is still a major issue. He does have a 12% back disability and can not find work. We are at our wits end and don't know who to talk to about all of this. Please help us.

In my opinion you should consult neurologist for seizures and orthopedic doctor and back issues.
Get done repeat EEG (electroencephalo gram). MRI brain is also needed to rule out any space occupying lesion in brain.
Sodium, potassium, magnesium levels should also be checked to rule out any imbalance because all these can also cause seizure.
For his back issues, better to consult orthopedic doctor and get done fresh MRI spine to look for any worsening.
