What Causes Blood From Mouth While Brushing With New Brush?

Trauma by toothbrush or gum infection..
Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it is commonly seen that when a person starts using a new toothbrush there can be some level of injury to the gums with the toothbrush if the toothbrush is hard..
Gradually as the brush become older the problem resolves..
So you should always use a medium to soft toothbrush to prevent injury to the gums as well as do not use vigorous movements to brush your teeth..
Another reason that can cause bleeding from gums is infection and inflammation in gums..
Any inflamed structure has premature blood vessels that tend to bleed on slight stimulation..
I would like to know a few more details so that I can guide you further.
1. Did you experience bleeding before also or it is just the first time?
2. Did you experience the bleeding for the first time only after brushing?
3..Do you also have redness or pain in gums?
Kindly revert back with the answers..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome Again.
Thanks for quick reply..
As per the response it seems that you have infection in gums and when you suck and spit blood it happens due to creation of negative pressure in the gums and it leads to sucking out of blood..
I would suggest you to consult a Dentist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation is generally sufficient for diagnosis..
He can do a thorough scaling of teeth to remove infection and it will be followed by a course of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory painkillers..
Topical application of antibiotic ointment and gargle with antiseptic mouthwash will relieve..
You can also do warm saline gargles..
You should also ask the dentist to demonstrate you a proper brushing technique that will help you in cleaning your teeth better...
Use a soft toothbrush to brush your teeth to limit trauma to teeth..
Any further queries are welcome..
Wishing you good health..
Thanks and regards.
