What Causes Blood In Stool After An Accident?
Question: I took your advice went to see a dermaoloist. I'm doing a lot better from that. However Tuesday I was in a car crash ( and no it wasn't my fault) I'm not fine from that. No broken bones but I believe I may now internal bleeding. My stools r filled with blood. Bright red blood. I don't have any pain in the stomach and I know I don't have hemmorriads. I don't intend to go back to the ER unless more blood comes out or if I start having pain. I do have pain in the other area of my body which I know is normal due to the crash and I hope will go away as I heal.

Hi and thanks for this query.
I am very happy to know you followed my advice and now doing a lot better. I am humbled and very glad to hear this.
I am sorry to hear about this accident you suffered. As concerns the blood in stools following this accident, I will suggest that you monitor again. I strongly believe this is a transient phenomenon and would not last. However, should the bleeding become abundant, sever pains set in or last longer than 3days, I will suggest that you seek further medical attention at that time. For now, no.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications should need be.
