Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your medical history and meds you are currently taking carefully and I need further details :
- have you been having constipation recently?
- have you noticed any lump around the anal area (hemorrhoids )?

Before telling it's from the meds, I need to have these info first.

Thank you

Explained below...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXX,

Thank you for providing the requested info.

1. Overall, all the meds you are using if taken altogether and the health problems you have been diagnosed so far, they will cause the general not well feeling you have.

2. Rosuvastatin you take to lower cholesterol is known to have tiredness and fatigue and muscle cramps as possible side effects. You can discuss with the doctor who prescribed to you if the benefits you get when taking it will overcome its side effects.

3. Spironolactone is a diuretic pill and might cause electrolytes imbalance (sodium bottom out) for which you are taking replacement treatment.

4. Diabetes is also causing the general not-well feeling together with feeling sick and tired all the time.

5. The fluids around your heart (pericardium) are altering the work of your heart, thus, contributing to your actual health problems too.

6. Now, coming to the blood you noticed in the toilet, there are 2 possibilities:
- if the blood is fresh and you notice all the time, then, it is from your rectum/anus. Any laceration during the passing of hard stool might cause bleeding.
- if the blood is not fresh or mixed with the fecal mass, then, further investigations (including colonoscopy) are advised to rule out other colon problems (e.g. inflammation, polyps or masses, etc.)

For the moment, I advise to :
- keep diabetes under control
- take multivitamins/mineral supplementation as advised
- increase fluids intake especially water

All the best!

is there a diuretic that doesn't cause electrolytes imbalance?
I had to cut back influids beause I drink too much water bottles when I cut bback it stop the dizziness a lot.now I can walk and see better. I take water bottles with me at all times. Lack of fluids isn't the problem.
My blood sugar only go down when it is meal times which is normal. They have been normal for over 8 years. I control my sugars well.
Is there something to do with the fliud around my heart like see a specialist to make it go away. the fliud pill hasn't got rid of it. I've had it the problem for four years. Ill get my doctor to check my cholesterol level and see about going off it the cramps started about time I was put on it.
I am on low carbs low fat diet and I used to weight 300lbs. I eat mostly meat and salads diet. I eat very healthy. I hate pastas and don't eat them or very little. I love vegetables and all kind of meats. Close to an Astkin's Diet. What else can be done. Don't you think that I'm on too much meds?

I bleed sometimes through my vaginia. My ex. punch me where it hurts. Had menopause early'

Hi back my dear,

Sorry for the late reply due to my XXXXXXX clinical consultations.

Indeed, you have multiple health problems causing actual symptoms.

Spironolactone is among of diuretics causing less electrolyte imbalance. But as it is inducing diuresis, you will need fluids replacement.

With regards to presence of pericardial fluids, should have a look at the tests reports first to understand the underlying problems first. Once again, diuretic you are taking will help clear up that fluid.

It is true that you are taking many meds but they are necessary to resolve your actual health problems. Once they get better, you can cut any of these meds off.

Vaginal bleeding at your age and outside the menses might be due to trauma or infection. If none of them, other abnormal pathologies to be ruled out then.

All the best!
Dr.Albana
