What Causes Blood In Stool While On Sporidex AF?
Question: I am a patient of blood pressure. For last ten days i am taking TRIOLMESEST 20, and NEBISTAR 5MG,
one tablet each daily. For small skin irritations my doctor suggest me SPORIDED AF 750 twice daily, and that is also taken for last five days. Now in last four days i have noticed bright red blood in my stool. There is no pain or irritation because of that, stool is normal once daily. What I want to know is this because of medicine side effect? What medicine may i try because going for routine test. Please suggest me.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to internal haemorrhoids. Sporidex Af (cephalexin) can cause constipation. So haemorrhoids could have occurred due to that.
You can take Ranitidine (zantac) twice daily , fibre rich food , more plain water , stool softeners like lactulose 15 ml once or twice daily for this. Zantac is available over the counter. You can also take prunes or prune juice at bed time.
